Past charts are read from what the supplier still publishes; your saved history contains what you have saved yourself. A monthly or yearly chart is the supplier's own edition, not an average of weekly ranks. Data is read only on request: there is no bulk retrieval of past charts and no ongoing collection.

A track’s weight = 101 − its rank. An artist’s weights are summed and divided by the weights of that chart’s eligible tracks. Global averages the markets that succeeded with equal weight. Where the denominator or the set of successful markets differs, the results cannot be compared as they stand.
